Once upon a time we were the typical upper middle class family living the American dream. Tragedy struck on February 29, 2016 when our son/brother, Jordan Miranda, unexpectedly passed away at 24 years of age. Such tragedy and profound grief irrevocably alters your life course. It can lead to bitterness and despair or it can propel you forward with a desire to do your part in making the world a better place.
